On 9 July, we visited Nyabihu District (Vunga Sector) with engineers from @RwandaWater and experts Prof. Andrew Hogg and Dr. Marf Woodhouse from the University of Bristol to observe an area affected by debris flows that transport sediment into the Mukungwa River. A valuable opportunity to connect real-world natural hazards with numerical modeling.
