During her research visit at the University of Bari, Celine is carrying out preliminary tests of the strongest degassing scenarios of Nyiragongo and Nyamulagira volcanoes using the FALL3D model to investigate the associated emission source parameters, under the supervision of Dr. Silvia Massaro. She is also analyzing satellite images and retrieving TROPOMI satellite data using a refined, trained machine-learning model developed by collaborator Dr. Claudia Corradino.
